About This Project
The O'Brien family's home had old ionization smoke alarms that were over 10 years old and not interconnected. With new legislation requiring interconnected alarms, they decided to upgrade the entire system.
We installed hardwired photoelectric smoke alarms in every bedroom, hallway, and living area. All alarms are interconnected—if one detects smoke, they all sound. We also replaced the battery backup units to ensure continued protection during power outages.
The family now has peace of mind with a modern, code-compliant smoke alarm system. The interconnection means they'll be alerted no matter where in the house a fire starts. We provided them with a maintenance schedule for testing and battery replacement.
