About This Project
The Williams family wanted to reduce their reliance on air conditioning in their master bedroom. A ceiling fan would provide comfortable airflow for sleeping while using a fraction of the energy. They chose a quality fan with an integrated light to replace their existing light fixture.
We reinforced the ceiling mounting point to safely support the fan's weight and motor vibration. The installation included a wall-mounted control allowing independent operation of the fan speed and light. We ran new wiring to support the additional functionality.
The family has been thrilled with their new fan, especially during Canberra's hot summer nights. They've found they can often skip the air conditioning entirely, saving money and sleeping more comfortably with the gentle breeze.
